How to Choose a Scent Machine for Your Space

The right machine is not simply the largest one. It is the model that covers the space evenly, fits the installation and can be serviced without disrupting daily operation.

Start with four facts: room volume, type of space, installation position and how often staff can refill the oil bottle. These four answers usually narrow six machines down to one or two sensible options.

Measure volume, not floor area alone

Coverage is stated in cubic metres because ceiling height changes how much air must be scented. Multiply room length by width and height. A 50m² lobby with a 4m ceiling is approximately 200m³; the same floor area with an 8m ceiling is 400m³ and needs a different system.

Match the machine to the operating environment

Environment What matters most Starting point
Bedroom or personal space Compact size, rechargeable power, simple control CP01
Airbnb or guest room Quiet operation, direct plug-in installation, easy servicing HP01
Premium room or spa Low noise, refined finish, flexible control RA01
Hotel or office Secure access, scheduling, wall or HVAC installation SI02
Lobby or showroom High output, large oil bottle, commercial operation MI01
Large central-air project HVAC integration, high capacity, wide coverage LI01

Check installation before ordering

Standalone machines are easy to place and move. Wall installation protects equipment in public areas and keeps counters clear. HVAC connection is useful when fragrance must travel through several zones, but the connection point, airflow direction and access for maintenance should be confirmed before installation.

Choose capacity around service frequency

A larger bottle does not automatically mean stronger fragrance. It reduces refill frequency. A guest-room machine can use a smaller bottle because each room is serviced regularly. A lobby or HVAC system needs more capacity because access may be less frequent and operating hours are longer.

Control and scheduling

Bluetooth scheduling is useful when staff manage operating hours and intensity. For public or commercial spaces, secure access and a clear oil-level indication can matter more than decorative lighting. Select features around who will operate the machine every day.
