LUMEN NARRATE

Custom Logo Options for Scent Machines

Compare scent machine logo labels, transfers, pad and screen printing, UV printing and laser marking by material, artwork and quantity.

A logo method should be chosen after the machine model, quantity, housing material, surface finish and artwork are known. A full-color gradient on a curved PP body and a one-color mark on anodized aluminum rarely use the same process.

For current LUMEN NARRATE orders of 1–49 units, the published small-batch route is an external transfer or durable label on a standard-color machine, with original packaging. At 50 units and above, a factory custom-logo service can be checked. The process, colors, size and position still need approval for the selected model.

The information a supplier needs first

Send these details together. A logo file by itself is not enough.

The material and coating should come from the supplier's specification. Guessing from a product photo can lead to the wrong ink, adhesive or laser setting.

Durable label

A durable label is often the most practical route for a sample or small test order. It can handle detailed artwork, several colors and variable information such as a barcode or model name.

The label construction has to match the surface. Face material, adhesive, ink and laminate all affect the result. PP and some powder-coated surfaces can be difficult for ordinary adhesive systems. Edge lift, bubbles, scratching and oil contact should be tested on the finished machine.

Labels also make future changes easier. A brand can revise a market name or compliance panel without changing the housing tool. The visible edge may be a drawback when the design calls for an integrated factory finish.

External transfer

Transfers can create a thinner, more printed appearance than a conventional label. Several technologies sit under the word transfer, including UV DTF, dry transfer, water transfer and heat-transfer processes. They are not interchangeable.

UV DTF can carry full color, white ink and surface effects onto finished objects that are hard to place in a direct printer. Adhesion and edge durability still need testing. Heat-transfer methods require a substrate and coating that can handle their process conditions.

The current LUMEN NARRATE small-batch policy says external transfer, but the exact transfer technology has not been confirmed for every model. A quotation should name the real process once the factory confirms it.

Pad printing

Pad printing can place small graphics on curved or uneven objects. It is often considered for compact plastic housings, buttons and recessed areas. One-color or simple artwork is usually easier to control than a complex gradient.

Ink selection and pretreatment depend on the resin and coating. PP may need special preparation or ink. A printed sample should be checked for registration, coverage and resistance to routine handling.

Screen printing

Screen printing suits flat or gently curved areas and strong spot colors. It can give a clean factory appearance on plastic or coated metal when the surface and ink system are compatible.

Each color and position can add setup work. Fine gradients and photographic art are not its natural job. Ask for the printable area, minimum line width and color tolerance before locking the artwork.

UV direct printing

UV printing can reproduce multicolor artwork and gradients on suitable surfaces. It may suit a brand that cannot simplify its mark to one color.

The finished housing must fit the printer or fixture, and the ink must adhere to the actual substrate. Cleaning, pretreatment or primer may be needed. Approve a physical sample and define how the mark will be tested.

Laser marking or engraving

Laser marking can create a durable one-color or contrast mark on suitable metals and coatings. Anodized aluminum is a common candidate. The result depends on the finish and color, and the same settings can look different on black, silver or gold bodies.

Laser is not a blanket metal solution. Painted or powder-coated sheet metal may expose the layer below, with an appearance that has to be approved. Some plastics can be marked, while others give weak contrast or undesirable surface changes.

The current quotation does not list the housing materials or surface treatments for TW-RA01 and TW-MI01. Confirm both details on the selected version and approve a physical sample before laser marking is promised.

Molded, raised or recessed branding

A logo can be built into a mold or structural part for a long-running product. This route suits stable high-volume programs because it brings tooling, engineering review and change-control work. It is a poor fit for a small market test or artwork that may still change.

The mold ownership, development cost, sample stages, minimum quantity and effect on certifications need written agreement.

30–49 units and 50 units are different projects

For 30–49 units, plan around a standard machine color and a tested external transfer or label. Original packaging remains the baseline. A box sticker or paper sleeve can be quoted separately.

At 50 units and above, the factory custom-logo route can be checked for the selected model and artwork. That route does not automatically include every process, unlimited colors, custom packaging or a custom machine color. Get the method, position, size, setup charges and sample treatment in writing.

This one-unit difference is commercially important. A customer who says 30–50 units should settle the final quantity before the supplier selects the route.

How to approve a branded sample

Frequently asked questions

Can I add a logo to 30 machines?

Yes. For 1–49 units, the current route is an external transfer or durable label on a standard-color machine. The exact method needs a surface test, and original packaging remains unchanged unless quoted separately.

Is logo customization free at 50 units?

The current policy states that a free custom-logo service is available from 50 units. The included process, colors, size, position and sample arrangement still need confirmation.

Can you laser my logo on any metal machine?

No. The metal, coating and color decide the result. A physical sample is needed before approving contrast and surface quality.

Can a gradient logo be screen printed?

A label, transfer or UV print may be more suitable for a detailed gradient. The artwork and surface should be reviewed before a process is selected.

Does a machine logo include a custom box?

No. Machine branding and retail packaging are separate quotation items with different files, setup work and minimum quantities.

Send artwork for a process review

Send the model, exact quantity, machine color, vector logo, printed size and preferred position to WhatsApp. We will separate confirmed options from items that still need a factory sample or test.

Order-quantity rules come from the current LUMEN NARRATE sales material. General process behavior is based on technical information from 3M, Mimaki, Inkcups, Roland DGA and Trotec. A common industry process is not presented as a confirmed factory process until the selected model is reviewed.
